I am a soprano from Aachen, a region in the border triangle, more precisely from Eurode - the first symbolic European city, which was formed from the Dutch city of Kerkrade and the German city of Herzogenrath. Different cultures come together here and it is very important to me to contribute to and express this diversity through my artistic work.
I am passionate about communicating music as an experience that is accessible to everyone. I want to share the joy of classical singing with a wide audience. A particular focus of my work is on social issues and the individual exploration of our surroundings and environment. A pinch of fantasy and magic is never missing.
My studies in singing took me to Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands as part of my Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
I gained my first musical experience at the age of five when I started violin lessons. A year later, I joined the local children's choir, where I also took on my first solo part. At the age of sixteen, I started singing lessons with soprano Katja Henkes Rolle and also learnt the piano and later the cello.

I completed my bachelor's degree at the Maastricht Conservatory under the guidance of Professor Franz Kokkelmans. There I took part in various musical projects, including ‘Die Zauberflöte’, where I took on the roles of the Second Lady and the Second Boy, as well as Zerline in ‘Les Brigands’. As a member of the extra chorus of the Stadttheater Aachen, I appeared in productions such as ‘Macbeth’, ‘Suor Angelica’, ‘La Traviata’ and ‘La Bohème’.
In 2018, my studies took me to Florence, where I studied at the Conservatorio di Musica Luigi Cherubini with Professor Leonardo De Lisi. From 2020, I worked with Professor Susanne Schimmack and continued my Master of Music with her at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp in 2021. Here I took part in masterclasses with Malcom Martineau, Ronny Lauwers and Hans Eijsackers, among others. In 2024, I graduated magna cum laude from this programme under the guidance of Professor Michèle Losier. I am currently still working with her.
Basically, I am enthusiastic about all forms of classical singing. Whether opera, operetta, songs or choirs - it is a pleasure for me to explore and experience this multifaceted world. A particular focus for me is working with contemporary composers and developing new and innovative approaches to performing classical music, especially art song. I realised my first project in this form, ‘Gretchen’, in May 2023 (more on this under ‘Gretchen’).
In addition to my musical career, I am a freelance photographer and write poetry, short stories and books. I have also been taking contemporary dance and ballet lessons since I was a child.
